STORY FIRST. ALWAYS.

I work with writers, directors, producers, and companies to develop projects from early ideas through to pitch and beyond.

The work comes down to the same thing. Getting clear on what a project is really about, what’s working, what isn’t yet landing, and how to move it forward in a way that feels both creatively honest and strategically sound.

Most of the projects I see aren’t failing because the writing isn’t good. They’re not landing because something essential isn’t clear yet.

INTENTION. CLARITY. MOMENTUM.

The goal is always the same. Build something that actually lands.

CONSULTING

This is the same work I’ve done inside studios for years, now applied directly and collaboratively across film, television, and emerging formats.

I work with writers, directors, producers, and creative teams at various stages of development.

Story Consult

A focused session to assess your project and identify what’s working, what isn’t, and where to focus next.

I’ll read your material in advance and we’ll spend 90 minutes walking through the core issues, looking at structure, character, and emotional clarity. You’ll leave with a clear sense of what the story actually is and how to move it forward.

A recording of the session is provided.

Development Intensive

A deeper engagement for projects that need structural work or a full rebreak.

We work together over several weeks to clarify the emotional spine, strengthen the structure, and shape the material into something that can move forward with confidence.

This typically includes an initial read, a longer notes conversation, and continued support through a rewrite, with a follow-up session to refine the next pass.

Studios & Producers

I work with studios, producers, and creative teams on development strategy, material evaluation, and project shaping.

This can include evaluating material, shaping a slate, or helping align creative direction with audience and market realities. Engagements are tailored to the needs of the project.

If you’re working on something that doesn’t fit neatly into the above, feel free to reach out. I’m happy to discuss what might be useful.

Including a brief note about your project and where you are in the process is always helpful.

KEEP IT HUMAN.

Because that’s what audiences actually respond to.
